IsoTap™ Female Swivel (IsoTapSw15) – with 15mm outlet nipple and Hot & Cold indicators

Use

APPLIANCE/FIXTURE SERVICE VALVE
The Isovalve IsoTap™ swivel range has been designed to be used as a service and flow reduction valve which are installed prior to a plumbing fixture or appliance.
A 15mm outlet nipple (IsoN15) is supplied with the IsoTapSw15 – however 10mm (IsoN10) and 20mm (IsoN20) nipples are available.

  • Removable and interchangeable outlet nipples allow flexibility while the inline filter means tapware complies with warranty conditions.
  • The needle valve allows for excellent flow control.
  • Swivel nut connection with seal.
  • Very quick connection to machined surfaces.
  • No need to apply sealant in confined spaces.
  • The IsoFlange (IsoWFF) slides over the linear shape of IsoTap reducing the need to be accurate with nippling tube.

Filter – Nylon PA-66 & 304 Stainless Steel 40×40 Mesh Aperture 0.42mm

Flow and Pressure Operation
Operating pressure:  Min 20kPa to Max 1600kPa.
Maximum pressure test for pipework pressure testing – up to 2000kPa.
Low pressure:  for water pressures below 35kPa remove inline filter – Isovalve™ will have no effect on final flow rates when installed prior to a typical ceramic disc mixer.
At 20kPa a single Isovalve™ will deliver a minimum flow of 6.5L/min.
Operating pressure:  At an operating pressure of 500kPa, a single Isovalve™ can deliver a maximum flow of approximately 33L/min.
Operating temperature range:  short term minimum 0oC to maximum 90oC.  Extended term 60oC.

Certification and Standards
Isovalves and accessories are manufactured and certified to comply with ATS5200.012, AS3688:2005 and ISO5208
DZR Brass complies with AS2345
WaterMark Certification pending.

Guarantee
Every Isovalve™ is factory tested before packaging.  Isovalves are guaranteed against defective parts for a period of five (5) years.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

The IsoTap™ Swivel Range makes connections very quick and easy – eliminating the need to apply thread sealant.

Install selected wall flange (IsoWFM) over male thread.  Screw swivel nut with rubber seal onto a machined finished male thread.  The swivel connection MUST ONLY be screwed onto a factory machined surface.

The entire swivel connection MUST BE fully visible.

DO NOT install the IsoTap™ Swivel where force could be applied.   It is up to the installer to ensure a permanent water-tight seal   The IsoTap™ Swivel is designed only to be used as a fixture/appliance service valve.

The IsoTap™ Swivel range is NOT DESIGNED to be used as a Test Plug.

10 (IsoN10) and 20mm (IsoN20) outlet nipples are available, enabling various configurations to suit.
